Radhika’s Story
Radhika was abandoned in India and because of this, has brain damage due to hydrocephalus, Cerebral Palsy, and seizures. She is unable to walk or talk. She was taken to an orphanage, where she awaited her forever home.
Radhika was adopted at the age of 3 into a family that loves to adventure, but, as Radhika has gotten bigger it has become next to impossible for them to all go together. Trails are not generally wheelchair accessible and being packed on dad’s back is no longer an option. This means either everyone has to stay home in order to be together, or someone stays back with Radhika, so the others can go.

We wanted to help Radhika’s family adventure TOGETHER!
So, Called Beyond Adventures purchased a Huckelberry Hiker for Radhika!!
The Huckelberry Hiker is a tandem-hiker that opens up so many opportunities for those with disabilities by making all trails accessible!
The Rinella family delivered the hiker to Radhika’s family in North Idaho, where they took them on their maiden voyage, spending the day exploring creation, breaking in the hiker, and starting them off on a new season of adventuring together!
