Pheasant Hunt Trip 2024
This is the best day of my life!
Cody, age 9
The word that comes to mind from this adventure is OVERCOMER.
Cody has come a long way in his little life, from foster care, hardly knowing how to speak and walk, accepting Jesus into his heart to being able to get an opportunity such as this was an incredible gift.
Life has been a bit hard on him and he still has a way to go. We were blessed to be able to see how this experience gave him more confidence in what he is capable of. We can’t thank you enough for sharing that experience with others and what it does for them now and long term.

Cody took to the field with a contagious excitement, lighting up everyone around him.
I loved all of it, being able to shoot the pheasants, love on the dogs, and eat hot dogs.

Thanks to some amazing volunteers, kids had the opportunity to learn the basics of shooting shotguns, and tried their hand at clay pigeon shooting before hitting the field.
One of Called Beyond’s greatest joys is helping families create bonds and memories together.
I loved seeing how great everyone was with our son, and for making him feel special, it was a memory that will last him a lifetime. Called Beyond was incredible. You get to see the passion of this ministry in how they treated our son and took the time to meet him at his level.
