Hayspur Fishing Day 2023

  • Called Beyond is teaming up with Idaho Fish and Game to give participants with disabilities a fun fishing day!
  • This adventure starts with a short clinic where attendees will learn the basics of fishing (casting, reeling, etc.)
  • The participants will then have the opportunity to practice what they learned by fishing in stocked ponds with fishing experts at their side.
  • The day will culminate in a bbq in the park.

Who is eligible:

  • Anyone with developmental, cognitive or physical Disabilities; must be an Idaho resident
  • Where: Hayspur Fish Hatchery, Picabo, Idaho
  • All fishing equipment will be provided.
  • There is no cost to participants.
  • Applicants do not need a fishing license as Called Beyond and Idaho F&G will facilitate that process upon selection.
  • For anyone under 18, parents and/or a guardian are required to be on-site and encouraged to join the child in all events. For those over 18, a care-giver must be present, and is encouraged to join in the fun.
